The Front Gates

Heritage Park Historical Village is a tourist attraction that interprets the history of Calgary prior to 1914. The park is located in south-west Calgary and encompasses 66 acres of land on the edge of the Glenmore Reservoir. The park employs costumed staff to perform heritage activities. Included on the site is a steam-powered locamotive, a full-service heritage restaurant, an oil rig, a Ferris wheel, a carousel and many historic buildings, such as schools, residences and businesses.
